comparison (page 31)
The main difference between a child and the other is that they are in a different environment, the child of the village, studying in a rustic, small marked by a very different social context of the child in Barbados. As the child of the village, has very few prospects for the future (worker in a factory or field). This addition to creating employment and economic future, creates a feeling and a motivation to continue studying.
The boy in the village, besides not having that comfort, it lacks much of his family, he loses foulbrood much more motivation overall, but fortunately the support, the impression that the child is a nuisance and obligation, that give the sisters, is the nudge proved necessary to study.
I agree with the attitude of the child in Barbados, as the importance of a good place to study, most importantly delivering disposition each student.
The text that kept me entertained and aware, all the reading, was the child of the village, as it is an experience different to mine, because if I would have to choose the text that has more relasion with me, would be that of child in Barbados. In these texts can be seen the first two prints that differ estudiantilmente with socioeconomic relationship.
